NSS Committee
The National Service Scheme (NSS) is an active student-centered program in the pharmacy college aimed at developing the personality of students through community service. It encourages students to participate in various social and health-related outreach activities, promoting civic responsibility and leadership.
Key Objectives and Activities:
- Social Responsibility: Encourages students to engage in community welfare and public health initiatives.
- Health Awareness Campaigns: Organizes awareness drives on lifestyle diseases, drug abuse, hygiene, sanitation, and COVID-19 precautions.
- Medical and Health Camps: Students participate in rural health camps, blood donation drives, and vaccination awareness programs.
- Environmental Activities: Tree plantation, clean campus drives, and water conservation efforts.
- Skill Development: Enhances communication, leadership, and teamwork skills through service-oriented tasks.
The NSS fosters a spirit of service, discipline, and empathy among pharmacy students, making them socially responsible future healthcare professionals.
Health Awareness and hygiene awareness camp was held at M H Gupta High school by the students of 3rd and 4th years along with the NSS committee members and were explaining the importance of hygiene to the girl students.
A one day Medical camp was conducted in the Thangadapally village Choutuppal Mandal Telangana by the NSS committee accompanied by 2nd and 3rd year students.
