The Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) is an institutional body established to promote entrepreneurial culture among students. It aims to encourage innovation, creativity, and self-employment by providing guidance, training, and support to aspiring entrepreneurs. The EDC acts as a platform where students can transform their ideas into viable business ventures and develop leadership and problem solving skills.

Key Functions of the Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC):

Creation of Entrepreneurship Awareness

The cell creates awareness about entrepreneurship as a viable and rewarding career option. It conducts awareness programs, seminars, and motivational talks highlighting the role of entrepreneurs in economic development and employment generation.

Training and Skill Development Programs

EDC organizes structured training programs to develop essential entrepreneurial skills such as business communication, leadership, negotiation, marketing, and financial management. These programs help students gain confidence to start and manage enterprises.
